Thomas Lambs Family

Thomas Lamb,born 1824, died 1873, married Winney Barnes, they had 10 children:
1. Isham Lamb,b.1844,d.1930,married twice, 1.Marieta Carter,2.Martha C. Wilkerson. Isham and Marieta had a daughter, Saloma Lamb, she married W.J. Wilkerson.
2. Wright B. Lamb, b. 1849, no information on him.
3. Archa Lamb, b.1853, no information on this one.
4. Mary Ann Lamb, b. 1855, d. 1951, married Elias Lamb
5. Warren Lamb, b. 1859, married, Elizabeth Mathews
6. Zebedee Lamb, b. 1862, d. 1937, married C.C. Britt
7. Sarah Lamb,b. 1865, d. 1948, married William Wilcox
8. Andrew Lamb, b. 1868, no information on him.
9. Marion Lamb, b. 1870, died 1930, married twice,
missoura Britt, 2. Ollie Britt.
10.Helen Neeland Lamb, b. 1847, died 1861, no information
on her.

Thomas Lamb, was a farmer who lived in the Hog Swamp area of Fairmont with his wife, Winney Barnes.Thomas Lamb served in the N.C. Troops,Co D, 18th Regiment as a Private. He was discharged on June 25, 1862. Together they had 10 children, all from Robeson County. Thomas Lamb was murdered by a William Baxley, while Jailed in Lumberton for disorderly conduct. Later, Winney Lamb remarried a Stephen Collins, they had no children.

Thomas and Winney left a long line of Lambs, which stems to day all over the United States.
